The United States Core Data for Interoperability Version 5 (USCDI v5) is now available, with new data classes and elements that support the Administration’s goals of equity, diversity, and access to health care. The new Standards Bulletin 24-2 (SB24-2) provides additional information about the process to develop USCDI v5 and the USCDI v6 submission and comment process.

We’ve published the SVAP Approved Standards for 2024! This year’s SVAP advances nine standards, including USCDI Version 4 and HL7® standards related to FHIR®, C-CDA and public health. Beginning August 19, 2024, health IT developers participating in the ONC Health IT Certification Program can voluntarily incorporate new versions of standards into their Certified Health IT Modules.
