Inadequate housing is defined by the HL7 Gravity Project as having housing that does not meet habitability standards. LOINC is used for Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) observations (assessment instrument panels, questions, and answers.) SNOMED CT U.S. Edition is used for SDOH observations, conditions, goals, diagnoses, procedures and interventions. ICD-10-CM is used for SDOH diagnoses. CPT and HCPCS Level II are used for SDOH procedures and interventions. NCPDP Comment

NCPDP recommends ASTP/ONC remove one of the two categories (‘Representing Inadequate Housing’, ‘Representing Housing Instability’) since they appear to be the same. If they are not duplicative, please redefine one of these categories.
