The Consumer Workgroup will provide input and make recommendations on policy issues or opportunities to use health IT to:
- Engage consumers and families in their own health and health care
- Enable consumer-provider partnerships supported by health IT
- Elevate consumer voices to shape health system transformation
The Workgroup will consider issues in light of existing policies and programs. The Workgroup will collaborate with other workgroups to address consumer engagement concerns that are critical to deliberations.
