Several task forces have been formed to inform high priority needs that require expertise from both the Health IT Policy Committee (HITPC) and Health IT Standards Committee (HITSC). These task forces are time limited and present findings to both the HITPC and HITSC Committees to inform recommendations that are transmitted to the National Coordinator.
