Rajiv Kumar, MD

Rajiv Kumar is an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes at the Stanford School of Medicine and Medical Director of Clinical Informatics at Stanford Children’s Health. With a focus on mobile health, his group works to improve passive communication and meaningful assessment of patient generated health data for chronic disease using sensors linked to mobile devices. Dr. Kumar’s group is equally interested in provider workflow, billing and policy related to this expanding model."

Rajiv earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, earned his medical degree and completed Pediatrics internship, residency and chief resident training at Loyola University Chicago, and completed a fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes at Stanford University.
