Dr. Kelly Aldrich has been a registered nurse for over 25 years. She graduated from The University of South Florida, Tampa with her Masters of Science in Nursing HealthCare Systems Leadership and Nursing Informatics Degree in 2004. Following this was her Doctorate of Nursing Degree focused in educational informatics including the culmination of work for “Putting Technology Into Practice”, allowing for new innovation technology to most appropriately be blended into inpatient care environments. Her clinical background includes an alumnus as a critical care registered nurse caring for patients in both cardiovascular and Neuro-Trauma intensive care units, as well as hospital supervisor, emergency department director, interventional cardiac care, as well Associate and Chief Nursing Officer. In her leadership roles, she focuses on not only the relevant clinical and operational needs, but also on the bedside care-giver. In addition to her current role as Nursing Informatics Officer, she is on the faculty of three universities, teaching Nursing Informatics in graduate and doctoral programs.
