New USCDI+ Platform Now Live; Public Health Datasets Available for Comment

The wait is finally over! If you’ve been following ONC’s work on USCDI+ over the past year, you’ve likely heard discussion of a new platform for organizing and building out the various USCDI+ datasets. After several months of development and testing, the new platform is now live at https://uscdiplus.healthit.gov and will be the single location where USCDI+ datasets for all domains will be located.

San Diego Health Connect Takes a Big LEAP Over the Barrier of Consent Management

Using Standards to Focus on Transitions of Care

Transitions of care (e.g. from a nursing home to an emergency department) are often difficult, but are even more dangerous for the patient and healthcare providers as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. ONC is working with private-sector innovators to find unique and rapid ways to help move patients from the hospital to the nursing home, or vice versa.
