Have you ever found yourself asking any of the following questions?

  • What advances are needed in application programming interfaces (APIs) to support faster, better and more scalable access to health information?
  • What technical underpinnings would support future nationwide, trusted exchange?
  • How can technology seamlessly interoperate across the continuum of care?
  • How can data standards evolve to support expanding needs of healthcare?

Then we’ve got an exciting, and updated, event for you!

This year, ONC will host an all-virtual Tech Forum August 10-11, 2020. Convening industry experts and federal partners together, the Tech Forum continues the summertime tradition we started with the “Interoperability Forum” in 2017, and emphasizes a focus on technology and the use of IT in healthcare to better distinguish its content from the ONC Annual Meeting.  We will host the Tech Forum using a virtual platform that allows for panels, speakers, and participants to engage in online dialogue across multiple areas.

It seems that everywhere one looks, there are exciting technical innovations happening that have the potential to revolutionize the delivery of healthcare and promote better outcomes, and through a series of plenaries and working breakout sessions, we look forward to learning more from you about what’s going on in the field. Bring your passion for health IT as we explore these questions together and discuss the challenges and opportunities on how to best leverage information technology in healthcare.

We hope to see you there, so check out the at-a-glance agenda and register today!
