HITECH Workforce Development Programs Student Employment after Program Completion

Community College Consortia Program: Of the 19,733 students trained by the Community College Consortia Program, 74 percent were employed in any employment 6 months after program completion; moreover, 68 percent were employed in a health IT job or had health IT related responsibilities.

University-Based Training Program: Of the 1,704 students trained by the University-Based Training Program, 89 percent were employed in any employment 6 months after program completion; moreover, 64 percent were employed in a health IT job or had health IT related responsibilities.
