The Cypress v2 patient test data consists of 36 synthetic patients designed to interact with and provide measure steward approved, gold standard expected results for the 64 Clinical Quality Measures (CQMs) selected for Stage 2 of Meaningful Use for Eligible Professionals (EPs). This standardized set of patient test data will be used as the primary evaluation mechanism for Electronic Health Record (EHR) vendor performance on clinical quality measure implementations via the Cypress software. It has not been designed to be an exhaustive test of all logical elements of the EP CQMs. The Cypress v2 patient test data has been designed instead to provide a simplified and standardized representation of common population information for a CQM software implementation to process and accurately calculate results.
The Cypress v2 Eligible Hospitals (EH) (including Critical Access Hospitals (CAH)) patient test data consists of 20 synthetic patients designed to interact with and provide measure developer approved, gold standard expected results for the 29 Clinical Quality Measures (CQMs) selected for Stage 2 of Meaningful Use for EH and CAH in CMS’ 2014 EHR Incentive Program. This standardized set of patient test data will be used as the primary evaluation mechanism for Electronic Health Record (EHR) vendor performance on clinical quality measure implementations via the Cypress software. Cypress v2 EH patient test data has not been designed to be an exhaustive test of all possible logical elements of the 29 CQMs. Instead, the patient test data targets a simplified and standardized representation of common patient population information for a CQM software implementation to process and accurately calculate the CQM results.
The Cypress v2 Quality Reporting Document Architecture (QRDA) patient test data consists of synthetic patient records designed to interact with and provide measure steward approved, gold standard expected results for the 64 Eligible Professional (EP) and 29 Eligible Hospital (EH) Clinical Quality Measures (CQMs) selected for Stage 2 of Meaningful Use in CMS 2014 EHR Incentive Program. This standardized set of QRDA data represents a common set of CQM data types and vocabulary (not logical patient records) related to CQM reporting and will be used as the primary evaluation mechanism for Electronic Health Record (EHR) vendor performance on QRDA Category 1 production via the Cypress software. Cypress v2 QRDA patient test data has not been designed to be reflective of logical patient records but instead provides the categories and data elements required to create QRDA Category 1 patient level data for CQM calculations. The Cypress QRDA patient test data has been designed to provide a simplified and standardized representation of common patient data requirements for an EHR software implementation to accurately create QRDA Category 1 files.
