The Biden Cancer Moonshot aims to support and center patients and caregivers, and President Biden has made it clear that the American people deserve a health care system that they can rely on. That includes a system of electronic health records that gives patients and doctors the information they need to provide excellent patient care and improve outcomes.

The FY 2014 Budget for the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) is $78 million, $17 million above FY 2012. The Budget builds upon the investment of health information technology (IT) resources authorized in the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act (as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009).
