This guide provides action steps for public health practitioners on self-measured blood pressure (SMBP) monitoring. Topics include: the burden of hypertension, support strategies for and costs associated with SMBP, and health insurance coverage for SMBP monitoring. Public health practitioners can use this guide in efforts to prevent and lower hypertension among populations.
