Kay Eron is General Manager, Health IT & Medical Devices at Intel, Health & Life Sciences. She brings 15 years of experience in HIT and Medical Devices, working at various companies including, Intel and GE Healthcare, GE Ventures, McKinsey & Company. She is passionate about driving open and secure HIT solutions that drive innovation in clinical analytics, clinical decision support, population health, virtual care, and smart connected devices. Currently at Intel, she is working with ecosystem partners to develop Health analytics platforms, interoperability solutions, eHealth Exchange platforms, business client solutions, and remote patient monitoring/tele-health infrastructure.

Prior to joining Intel, Ms. Eron held multiple General Manager positions at GE Healthcare. She uniquely brings the experience in both health IT implementation, integration as well as device to device, device to IT system interoperability. Most recently, she was General Manager for Developing Markets, in the Monitoring Solutions Group, where she managed research and development engineers and product management teams. She was also General Manager for Performance Diagnostic Cardiology, in which she developed health IT solutions as well as cardiac devices with global engineering teams based in India and China. She was also General Manager for Diagnostic Cardiology, Clinical Systems Asia, in which she led commercial and marketing organizations.

Prior to GE, Ms. Eron worked at McKinsey & Company and Prophet Brand Strategy in San Francisco, as Senior Associate. Ms. Eron also worked at Dentsu Inc, the largest marketing and advertising conglomerate in Tokyo, Japan. She received her Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts from International Christian University in Tokyo, Japan. She speaks English, Japanese and Mandarin.
