Presently, the only requirement for Test EHRs is to provide and maintain information in a central location as described in Q10 above. However, vendors will be required to let the providers know if the test was successful or not within one day of conducting the test. If the issue is due to Test EHR, then, it is expected that the Test EHR developer will work directly with the provider to reschedule the test. Providers can use another Test EHR if available to conduct the test. ONC, NIST and CMS will not maintain a helpdesk to troubleshoot testing issues on behalf of testers and Test EHRs.
