ONC may notify you by letter that your application has been selected for an award based on the outcome of the objective review process and use of any other selection factors. Any such notification does not authorize you to begin performance. Following the business management review of the application, if you will receive an award, the ONC grants management officer will issue a Notice of Grant Award. The Notice of Grant Award is the legal document indicating that an award has been made and that you may request funds from the HHS Payment Management System.
