The Workforce Program's primary goal is to rapidly and sustainably train a new workforce of health IT professioanls to help providers implement and optimize electronic health records to improve health care quality, safety, and cost efficiency. This September 2013 presentation provides data on the progress of the Health IT Workforce programs' progress in training health IT professionals, as well as early findings from the program evaluation. .
