In collaboration with ONC, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) developed the 2011 Edition Test Method (functional and conformance testing requirements, test cases, and test tools) to support testing and certification to the 2011 Edition EHR Certification Criteria under ONC’s Certification Program. These conformance test methods (test procedures, test data, and test tools) will help ensure compliance with the adopted 2011 Edition EHR Certification Criteria in support of Meaningful Use.
